Future Business Leaders of America
What is Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)?
Future Business Leaders of America is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps more than 230,000 members in middle school, high school, and college prepare for careers in business.
Goals:
- Develop an understanding of what it means to lead.
- Understand fundamental business principles & how business impacts all sectors and careers.
- Demonstrate the ability to use technical skills to solve problems.
- Create your post-graduation career plan.
Competitions
Regional Leadership Conference
Students in Charles and Prince George's counties compete and can advance to a state level if they earn a gold, silver, or bronze medal. The competition locations are rotated between each of the counties.
State Leadership Conference
Students throughout the state that competed and placed in their respective regional competitions will participate in this event. If a student earns a gold medal, they are eligible to represent the state of Maryland on a national level.
National Leadership Conference
The National Leadership Conference is the showcase for the best FBLA members. Students who placed at the regional or state level compete nation-wide in their respective events.
